In our initial consultation we do a deep dive into your health history, current symptoms, dietary patterns, current supplements if any and lifestyle factors. I spend the time with you to get the full picture and take into account your body as a whole. Before you have seen me, I have already done some digging and looked into potential nutrient interactions or depletions due to prescription medications, disease states and potentially looked at some blood pathology from an optimal lense.
From this information we build a tailored, manageable treatment plan together. Nothing too hard to implement and maintain. I will provide you with an in-depth treatment plan that covers talking points from our session, pathology interpretation, dietary suggestions which may include recipes, handouts etc, lifestyle advice, potential scripts for practitioner only products and suggested further testing if required. This testing may be standard pathology testing bulk billed through your GP or integrative pathology testing such as stool testing, DUTCH and organic acids, salivary hormones and cortisol, Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis (HTMA) and nutrigenomics.
My goal is to educate you and work alongside you, at your pace. I will meet you where you are at and then build achievable sustainable changes together that restore your vitality and balance.
In a follow-up session we go through your progress with suggested changes, symptoms and any blood pathology results. This is where we further build on your goals and what you are aligned with. Typically, I will see you every 4 weeks over a 4-5 month period and then yearly check ins if required. We are building towards restoring balance. This means chronic symptoms will not be resolved after 1 session and often, treatment changes in the same way our life does.
This session is an extended follow-up session to allow extra time to go through integrative pathology results in depth. This applies for; HTMA, Microbiome Mapping, OATs testing etc. Standard blood pathology may fall into this category, if the panel is large. I will always confirm this with you prior
